As a wedding videographer in Northern Ireland, I get to witness all kinds of moments — the emotional, the heartfelt, the hilarious — and Julie & Jody’s wedding had all of that and more.
Set against the charming backdrop of Four Seasons Hotel Carlingford, their wedding was a beautiful blend of elegance, romance, and unexpected laughs. It was clear from the start how deeply Julie and Jody care for one another, and their connection made every moment on camera feel natural and authentic.
One of the most memorable parts of the day happened during the ceremony. Just as everyone was settling in, a power cut plunged the church into darkness. But instead of panic, the room filled with laughter when the priest casually asked, “Does anyone know an electrician?” – a perfectly timed joke given that the groom, Jody, is in fact an electrician! That spontaneous humour created a shared moment none of us will forget, and it became a perfect reflection of the couple’s light-hearted and fun-loving nature.
The rest of the day flowed beautifully. After the ceremony, the celebrations continued at the Four Seasons Hotel in Carlingford, a venue that always delivers on charm and hospitality. With its scenic views and warm atmosphere, it offered the perfect setting for relaxed and joyful footage.

The ceremony music by Marie Fox added a beautifully emotional layer to the earlier part of the day, creating the perfect soundtrack for the couple’s journey to the altar.
