As a wedding videographer in Northern Ireland, I’m lucky to witness some truly unforgettable days – but Cathy and Daragh’s celebration at Darver Castle was something else entirely.
Their wedding began in the charming Ballinderry Chapel, where emotional vows were exchanged in front of close family and friends. From the moment I arrived, I could feel the excitement building — and trust me, it only grew from there.
After the ceremony, we made our way to the stunning Darver Castle, one of Northern Ireland’s premier wedding venues. Set against rolling green fields and timeless stone architecture, the castle was the perfect backdrop for their love story.

Floral artistry from Macknagh Blossoms, flawless hair styling by Rebecca Mulholland, and makeup magic from Hayley McLean helped bring Cathy’s bridal vision to life. Mid Ulster Limos ensured smooth travel, while Dominique and Ark Deko provided stunning live music for the ceremony and drinks reception.
After dinner, the vibe shifted from romantic to electric. DJ Magiggs kicked off one of the most interactive and fun wedding parties I’ve ever filmed. From singalongs to a full-on fancy dress , a hula hoop challenge, and even a mini rave, Cathy and Daragh’s guests brought unmatched energy. It made for incredible footage and even better memories.
One of the highlights of the day for me was sneaking away for evening portraits in the golden sunset. Cathy and Daragh were radiant, and the light was absolutely perfect — a videographer’s dream.
The party continued into the night with Nooks Music, who brought an epic live band vibe to the dance floor, keeping the celebration alive.
