As a wedding videographer in Northern Ireland, I get to witness countless love stories — but Ainé and Joe’s day at Clandeboye Lodge Hotel truly stood out for its warmth, laughter, and the incredible energy that carried through from morning to midnight.
The day began with the calm of wedding morning preparations. Rachael Donnelly Makeup and Hygge Omagh Hair Stylist worked their magic to create a natural, elegant look that perfectly matched Ainé’s bright and joyful personality.
After a heartfelt ceremony, we made a quick stop across the road to capture some stunning couple portraits in a golden barley field — the perfect romantic contrast of soft light and rustic texture. Then, it was off to Crawfordsburn Beach for windswept, cinematic moments that truly showed the connection between Ainé and Joe.
Arriving at Clandeboye Lodge, the celebration was in full swing. The venue looked beautiful, styled with delicate floral touches from Wildeflor Floral, and every detail felt personal. The evening kicked off with music from Juice Wedding Band, who had the dance floor full from the first song to the very last.
One of my favorite memories from the day was the hilarious surprise of a life-sized cardboard cutout of Ainé’s best friend Caoimhe, who couldn’t make it to the wedding but “attended” in spirit — and even joined in the dancing!
Every frame of their wedding film is filled with joy, laughter, and the natural beauty of Northern Ireland. From the golden barley fields to the soft beach light and the lively party atmosphere, this day was everything a wedding videographer dreams of capturing.
