As a wedding videographer in Donegal and Northern Ireland, I get to film some truly special days – but Paul and Stephen’s wedding at Harvey’s Point was one that’ll stick with me for a long time. From the laughter and craic to the heartfelt moments, their day was a joy to capture from start to finish.
Harvey’s Point is one of those wedding venues that takes your breath away no matter how many times you visit. Sitting on the shores of Lough Eske, it gave Paul and Stephen the perfect backdrop for their big day. The mix of luxury, warm hospitality, and those stunning lake views made the setting feel extra special.
The ceremony was full of wee touches that showed off their personalities. Walking up the aisle to the theme tune from Home & Away had the whole room smiling – it was light-hearted, memorable, and totally them.
The photography on the day was in safe hands with Lauren Carroll, assisted by Gerard Gormley. They caught the natural moments – the laughs, the tears, the stolen glances – all the bits that make a wedding day so personal and real.
After the meal, guests were treated to a brilliant surprise with Singers by Surprise. The “singing waiters” had the whole room up on their feet, singing along and clapping – a proper lift to the evening that no one saw coming.
It’s easy to see why couples fall in love with Harvey’s Point as a wedding venue. Between the warm Donegal welcome, the food, and those breathtaking views, it’s the kind of place that turns a wedding day into something unforgettable.
Filming Paul and Stephen’s wedding was an honour. Their easygoing nature, their laughter, and the love they share shone through the whole day. Their wedding film is now a keepsake that’ll let them relive those memories for years to come.
