Every Castle Leslie wedding feels like a scene from a classic film — grand, elegant, and full of character. As a wedding videographer based in Northern Ireland, this venue is one of my absolute favourites to film. Janet & Daniel’s day captured everything that makes Castle Leslie so special: heartfelt emotion, timeless style, and cinematic light at every turn.
From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was filled with joy and anticipation. Kay Burns Hair and Natasha O’Hare Makeup created a flawless, natural bridal look for Janet — elegant and radiant in every frame. Her gown, supplied by The Own Studio, combined modern minimalism with graceful movement, making it a dream to capture on film.
Janet’s veil deserves a special mention — possibly the longest I’ve ever seen — flowing effortlessly behind her as she walked through the castle grounds. The floral design by Velvet Peonies added a romantic softness throughout the day, from the bouquet to the reception tables inside Castle Leslie’s stunning interiors.
Guests were welcomed to the reception with a spectacular champagne tower, perfectly setting the tone for the celebration ahead. Working alongside Deci + Brideen from Simple Tapestry Photography is always a pleasure — their creativity and relaxed approach made the day flow beautifully. As night fell, The Rare Aul Stuff band brought the party to life, filling the room with energy and laughter.
Filming Janet & Daniel’s Castle Leslie wedding reminded me why I love what I do — capturing fleeting moments that tell a lasting story. Their day was an incredible blend of elegance, emotion, and joy, set against one of Ireland’s most iconic backdrops.
